I must start by saying that I really love the way that Patricia Briggs writes. I do think that I hold my favorite authors to a higher standard....I have just come to expect a whole lot out of my favorites. This book was a solid 4 star read for me. In this book, Charles is troubled and it is Anna's turn to look out for him (at least at the start of the book). Of course, Anna gets into trouble and must be saved by Charles at the end of the book. I look forward to reading the next in the series...but I will have to probably wait 2 years for it to be released.
