This isn't the kind of book that I read very often but every once in a while this is exactly the kind of book that I feel like reading. I mean if you are in the mood for a sexy book about a bad motorcycle club member, look no further. This was a very sexy book that dove a little deeper into real feelings and a mystery that kept me guessing.

Cole was the highlight of this book for me. Cole makes no excuses for who he is and what he has done. He is straightforward and usually says exactly what he is thinking. He may be a bad boy but he is a bad boy with a lot of honor. This bad boy treats Mia as if she were a treasure. I always love a story with a bad boy who is really good under all of his layers.

"You look like you're having a bad day. Let's combine your bad day and my bad idea, and be bad together."

Mia has been through hell and back. She is determined to make the people who hurt her pay and will go to great lengths to make it happen. She does not expect to actually feel something for Cole. That was never a part of her plan. I didn't like Mia nearly as much as I liked Cole. The fact that she was Cole's psychologist really bothered me. There are certain lines that should never be crossed and I think that this is one of them. That being said, I shoved my moral problem with the situation aside and just went with the story. Mia seemed to really learn a lot about herself during the course of this story.

I did like Mia and Cole as a couple once I decided to ignore the fact that she was his psychologist. As people, they really did work together despite the fact that they were so different on the surface. They both seemed to gain something from each other and were stronger together than apart and there was a lot of chemistry between the pair. The sexy times were hot and there were enough of those sexy scenes to keep the spice up the book while maintaining some focus on the underlying mystery to be solved.

I really liked the way this book was written. The characters were nicely developed. The balance of the mystery and the sexy times was handled very well. I never felt this this was just a collection of loosely connected sex scenes which I have felt in other erotic stories. Each scene really moved the story along and helped to develop the characters.

I would recommend this to fans of erotic romance who like a little bit of bad boy in their story. This is the first book by Jill Sorenson that I have read but I plan to read more in the future. I would definitely continue with this series.

I received an advance reader edition of this book from Carina Press for the purpose of providing an honest review.
